Xbox has announced it’ll be launching a new version of its Xbox Series S console, with a new colour – plus expanded storage.
The new model Xbox Series S will come in the colour of Carbon Black and will launch on the first of September, alongside Starfield. Xbox has said they’re making the larger console as they’ve said that’s the request they’ve heard the most from fans. Naturally, it’ll come with an accompanying controller – the same colour as what’s already available with the Xbox Series X. It’ll be the first new hardware model for the new console since it was launched in 2020.
According to Xbox, pre-orders for the new console are available now on the Microsoft Store, and will be available from September 1 with an RRP of $349.99 – that puts it at around $50 more expensive than the RRP of the usual 512GB model.
