The Fortnite Summer Escape event has now kicked off in battle royale shooter Fortnite, with a bunch of free rewards up for grabs.
The event will give players of the battle royale shooter a bunch of new challenges they can take part in for some sweet, summer-themed cosmetic rewards for players to nab by completing the quests. As per the official Fortnite blog post, they’ll include a bunch of things like the Toasted Coconut emote that appears to be based off the famous Leonardo Di Caprio cheers meme, as well as some totally tropical Back Bling and gliders.
The Fortnite Summer Escape event starts today and runs until July 18, 2023. Here’s what’s available and how you can get each item.

- Subscribe to Fortnite Crew and login to the game at any time during Summer Escape
- Wild Fronds Back Bling (Uncommon)
- Complete 14 Summer Escape quests
- Treezy Back Bling (Rare)
- Complete Lagoon Party quests between July 8 and July 11
- Blossom Drop Contrail (Rare)
- Complete Make An Entrance quests between July 12 and July 16
- Toasted Coconut Emote (Rare)
- Complete 24 Summer Escape Quests
- Bugsy Glider (Rare)
- Complete 18 Summer Escape Quests
- Nanners Wrap (Uncommon)
- Complete The Quench quests between July 4 and July 7
- Starry Sea Wrap (Rare)
- Mantle within 30 seconds of busting through a door (Quest available July 12)
- Artifact Axe Pickaxe (Rare)
- Destroy 10 Stones (Quest available July 11)
