We’re getting plenty of reveals for EA Sports FC 24 as we draw closer to the games release, with trailers and deep dives showcasing the latest innovations on offer. As fans, we try to look for tiny details that may give us a clue about that extra bit of information to tell us something about the game. However, something pretty obvious was shown off in the official gameplay deep dive trailer…
It can be tough being a Tottenham fan. There is the managerial merry-go-round, a lack of silverware, Harry Kane is wanting out, and no one likes you! Not even the FC 24 producers by the looks of it!
The gameplay deep dive trailer is one of many that will create hype around the game as we count down to the EA Sports FC 24 release date, but that anticipation may not have been felt by all. Various in-game footage, behind-the-scenes looks, and animations for the upcoming game were displayed, featuring plenty of clubs and players, but there seemed to be a theme running throughout. Spurs are s**t!
We counted 12 times that The Lilywhites were included in some sort of action, and in eight of them they were clearly doing poorly. Six times the side was shown conceding a goal, with cover star Erling Haaland finding the back of the net with ease! Hugo Lloris was made to look a right mug.
It wasn’t just the goalkeeper on the receiving end of things, however. Eric Dier gets outmuscled by Haaland, Harry Kane has his shot blocked, and Diogo Jota jostles with Dejan Kulusevski, making the Swede seem like a real weed.
A new manager in Ange Postecoglou may have had some Spurs fans feeling optimistic about the upcoming season, but this trailer might have rained on their parade.
To be fair, it wasn’t all doom and gloom, with the side shown to score four goals as well. Kane slotted away a penalty, with Son Heung Min finding the top bins three times – with a free-kick against Liverpool, after dancing through the Manchester City defence, and with a finesse shot, again against the Reds.
