The Quaking Earth Titan is called Great Tusk in Pokémon Scarlet, and Iron Treads in Pokémon Violet. Great Tusk is a Ground/Fighting type Pokémon, whereas Iron Treads is a Ground/Steel type Pokémon.

This beast can be found easily in the Asado Desert and it is as big as a Ferris Wheel, so you will not have any trouble finding it.

There is no specified level of this Quaking Earth Titan so you do not need the recommended level. This beast of a Pokémon has a very high defense system and is a ground-type Pokémon.

Once you initially beat the Quaking Earth Titan for the first time, it will run off to a cave and eat the herb called Mystica to grow super strong. This will give it an obvious advantage in phase 2 of battling against this Titan.

How To Fight Quaking Earth Titan?

You might expect this titan to be slow and bulky, but the reality is quite the opposite. Either of the Quaking Earth Titans can use the Rapid Spin attack. This attack significantly increases its speed and does moderate Normal-type damage to your Pokémon

Also keep an eye out for Iron Head, a Steel-Type move by Iron Treads, and Brick-Break, a Fighting-type move from Great Tusk.

Strategy To Use When Fighting The Quaking Earth Titan

The best strategy for either of the Quaking Earth Titans is to use status effect attacks that lower the titan’s attack, like Growl. This is because the Pokémon has no way to increase its attack, and relies mostly on physical attacks, lowering its attack will make the fight much easier.

One thing you need to bear in mind is that you should never attack during a sandstorm since the Iron treads Quaking Earth Titan will receive zero damage as it is immune to sandstorms whereas your Pokémon HP will recede.

Iron Treads

The Quaking Earth Titan in Pokémon Scarlet is particularly weak to Ground and Fighting-type moves. You can dish out a lot of damage through any of these Pokémon, but if your move AP runs out, then go for a Fire or Water Pokémon. 

A Fire attack may even end up burning Iron Treads, which will deal him continuous damage over the next few turns.

Great Tusk

For Great Tusk, opt for Water, Grass, Psychic and Flying-type Pokemon. Surprisingly enough, Great Tusk doesn’t know any Ground-type moves, so even the Pokémon susceptible to those attacks stand a fighting chance.
