How to Get Shroomish

There are two primary locations where Shroomish can be found in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Paldea region, which are the South Province’s Area Five, and the West Province’s Area Three. Although we recommend you look for them in the first area, as their rate of spawn seems to be much higher there.

One thing to keep in mind when catching Shroomish is that this Pokemon faints very easily. Therefore, try to not accidentally end up accidentally knocking it out with one of the many types type disadvantages it has.

However, in the same West Area’s Area Three where we can find Shroomish, there’s also a small chance for the evolved form, Breloom to spawn. Therefore, if you’re looking to directly catch Breloom then you can do so from there.

If one of the two Pokemon refuses to spawn, then you can always eat a grass type spawn increasing sandwich, such as the level 1 Klawf Claw Sandwich, to better your odds of encountering them in the wild.

How to Evolve Shroomish

After getting your hands on Shroomish, all you have to do is level it up until it reaches level 23, at which point it will naturally evolve into Breloom. Shroomish requires neither any special evolutionary item, nor does it need you to meet any specific requirements.

Getting to level 23 shouldn’t be too hard seeing as how there are so many trainers and wild Pokemon for you to battle against in the region of Paldea.

If you feel like it’s taking too long, however, then you can use EXP candies to level up your Shroomish instead. To get EXP candies, you have to participate in Tera Raid Battle Events, the strength, and difficulty of which are ranked using a star based system.

The higher the star rating, the more difficult the raid will be, but the better rated EXP candy you’ll get for completing it.
