Eevee has always been one of the most popular Pokemon since its introduction way back in Generation I thanks to its many evolutions. Back then, it only had three, but over the years it’s gained many more, with a whopping eight evolutions now to choose from.

If you’re thinking of getting yourself a Sylveon, make sure you know all about the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Fairy Type strengths and weaknesses, and if you’re looking for some evolutionary stones, check out how to unlock the Auction House in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. With that, let’s take a look at how to evolve Eevee in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to get Eevee

There are a few places where Eevee shows up as a rare spawn. It can be found to the West of Cortondo, Northwest of Medali and Northwest of Mesagoza.

The best place to find an Eevee for a Sylveon is to the West of Cortondo as these Eevees are around level 10, which means they are ready to learn the Fairy-type move Baby-Doll Eyes when they reach level 15.

How to get Friend Balls

Wild Pokemon that have just been captured will start out with a low friendship level. To help with this, you can also capture wild Pokemon with a Friend Ball. A Friend Ball raises the friendship level that a wild Pokemon begins with when it is caught. The auction house in the Porto Marinada Market is the place to go if you want to get your hands on some Friend Balls.

You can further raise friendship by using your Pokemon in battle. However, make sure to avoid letting them faint as this will decrease your friendship by a significant amount. Pokemon also become friendlier when you use items on them such as EXP Candies and stat-boosters.

How to evolve Eevee into Sylveon

In order for Eevee to evolve into Sylveon, the Pokémon must first reach a higher level while also possessing a Fairy type move and you also need to have a high friendship level with the Eevee. Eevee’s first opportunity to learn a move of the Fairy type comes at level 15, when it can learn Baby-Doll Eyes.

How to evolve Eevee Into Umbreon

To evolve your Eevee into an Umbreon, the dark type Pokemon, you first need to build a high Friendship level of 160 with Eevee, then evolve it at nighttime.

How to evolve Eevee into Espeon

To evolve an Eevee into an Espeon, the Psychic type Pokemon, all you need to do is raise its level during the day while maintaining a high friendship level 160.

Eevee and Sylveon, Umbreon and Espeon Stats Comparison

Sylveon has a high Special Attack stat and access to a wide variety of powerful attacks, such as Draining Kiss and Moonblast, which contribute to its overall effectiveness. Sylveon also possesses a Special Defense that is pretty high, making it an effective tank against special attacks and certain opponents.

Umbreon has high Defense and Special Defense stats, making it a complete brick wall in front of offensive-type Pokemons. It’s one of the tankiest forms that Eevee can take, making it a popular choice among players looking for a Pokemon to add to their battle kit. This is further complimented by the fact that Umbreon sports a unique appearance that many trainers appreciate.

Espeon is Eevee’s Psychic-type evolution. Espeon has a good Speed stat and a very high Special Attack stat. This is balanced by Espeon’s low HP, Attack and Defense.
