MW3 perks list (2023) – all leaked and confirmed perks so far

The MW3 perks list is filled with a variety of unique stat-boosting traits that can shift a gun fight in your favor. With the next CoD entry having been turned from an expansion into a standalone installment, though, Modern Warfare 3 will seemingly have a refreshed perk system.

But even with a revamped structure, MW3 should still include a few old faithfuls like Scavenger. However, some unfamiliar ones, like the recently revealed Covert Sneakers perk, will also be making their way into the game following the Modern Warfare 3 release date announcement. • Covert Sneakers

At the time of writing, only one MW3 perk called Covert Sneakers has been confirmed by Activision and Sledgehammer Games. According to the publisher’s official announcement, equipping this will give players silent movement – that is, as long as they choose the correct footwear. With this in mind, the aforementioned revamped system that features different pieces of gear instead of equippable perks may be another innovative feature that the developer has in store for fans.

Notable CoD leaker BobNetworkUK stated in a now-deleted tweet that perks in MW3 will reportedly be tied to wearable gear. This includes different pieces of clothing such as gloves, footwear, and vests. In addition to the confirmed Covert Sneakers boost, some of the other alleged perks include the following, each separated according to the equipment they’re used with:

• Gloves
  • Scavenger
  • Tactical Combat
  • Specialist
  • Assault
  • Marksman

• Vest
  • Grenadier
  • Tactical
  • Infantry
  • Overkill
  • Gunner
  • Scout

It’s currently unclear how each of these perks will function. But if these rumors are to be believed, then this should allow players more freedom in mixing up their loadouts. But since these haven’t been confirmed by Activision and Sledgehammer Games just yet, we recommend taking this information with a heaping amount of salt for the time being.

How will the MW3 perk system work?

Based on confirmed and leaked information that’s been provided so far, the MW3 perk system will seemingly require players to wear different pieces of gear as opposed to equipping the perks outright. Though only Covert Sneakers has been confirmed so far, Activision should be providing more information on this particular aspect over the next few weeks.
