After the full reveal, we now know who has the best Madden 24 WR ratings. When it comes to playing on offense in Madden, fans tend to gravitate tremendously to passing the ball. In order to find success when doing so, it’s key to have not only a good quarterback, but also a strong wide receiver or two.

With the countdown of the Madden 24 release date almost at an end, many fans have been curious about the new Madden 24 player ratings, particularly the WRs they will be able to use. Ones passing game on offense will only be as good as those tasked with catching the ball, and in Madden this holds particularly true. But which wideouts have best Madden 24 WR ratings?

Some of the best playmakers you will have on offense, will be that of your wide receivers. From the athleticism, speed, route-running, and catching ability these talents provide, the wide receiver position is one of the most important in football, and is something fans can experience firsthand in Madden as well.

Roughly a year ago, Davante Adams was the best WR in Madden 23 with a 99 overall rating at launch. Although Adams did end up leading the NFL in receiving touchdowns over the 2022 regular season with 14, a new WR star is in line to take his number one overall spot this year.

Madden 23 was home to 12 90+ overall rated players at launch, and so will Madden 24 once again this year. We breakdown five of the Top 20 WRs you will be able to play with in Madden 24 down below as ranked by EA Sports.

Justin Jefferson – 99 overall

In Madden 23, Jefferson was a 93 overall rated wideout at launch. But following his incredible Offensive Player of the Year Award winning performance where he was first among all wide receivers in receptions (128), receiving yards (1,809), and yards per game (106.4), how could Jefferson not be a 99 overall in Madden 24. This is on top of the fact that he was also first in the league in yards after the catch among all wide receivers (613) and had eight touchdowns as well. Madden 24 made the right call this year and this is a very well-earned achievement for Jefferson. Vikings QB Kirk Cousins just needs to find him and he’ll be away.

Davante Adams – 97 overall

Though it might be tough to see the reigning 99 overall wideout from Madden 23’s launch come with a 97 overall, Adams by no means should be the best wide receiver this year, and Madden made the right call with his rating this year. Last season, Adams was third in the league in receiving yards (1,516), fifth in receiving yards per game (89.2), and eighth in receptions (100), despite the fact that he received a total of 180 targets which was only second to Jefferson. Adams had a great season, but certainly not the best of numbers to propel him to a 98 or higher at launch.

Cooper Kupp – 96 overall

The Los Angeles Rams star WR was hit hard with a high ankle sprain last season that later required surgery. So seeing him back as a 98 overall wide receiver was a long shot. That said, Kupp is still very much one of the best in the game, which is why he will have a 96 overall rating in Madden 24. Despite it being well over a year ago, we cannot forget the epic 2021 season Cooper Kupp had en route to the Rams Super Bowl title that year. Over the 2021 campaign, Kupp won the WR Triple Crown Honor of having the most receptions (145), most receiving yards (1,947), and most receiving touchdowns (16) among all wide receivers.

Ja’Marr Chase – 94 overall

Despite missing five games last season, which led him to secure only 1,046 yards, Chase still managed to show everyone how great of a talent he really is, doing so by reeling in a total of nine touchdowns to go with 87 receptions. Considering Chase was a 87 overall in Madden 23 at launch last August, it comes to no surprise that Madden chose to add him to the Top 10 this year with a well-earned 94 overall rating. Some might think this a bit high for Chase seeing the 2022 campaign he had. But considering the rookie season he had, Chase is still very much one of the best wide receivers in the game right now.

A.J. Brown – 91 overall

The Philadelphia Eagles have an electric offense that tore up the league last season. And though quarterback Jalen Hurts is front and center of that offense, it’s weapons like A.J. Brown that make it significantly better by how great they are day in and day out. Brown finished fourth in the NFL in receiving yards last season (1,496) and placed second in receiving touchdowns (11). Following a big Super Bowl run and an impressive first season with the Eagles, it’s frankly shocking to see Brown with a 91 overall rating. Though he most definitely deserves to be in the Top 10, Brown should have received at least a 94 if not 95 overall in Madden 24.
