The best Madden 24 QB ratings have been revealed. Many fans and experts alike in the American football community firmly believe that the most important position on offense, more or less as a whole, belongs to the quarterback. Just like real life, quarterbacks are one of the most important positions to prioritize in Madden, and fans have become curious about which will be the best to use in Madden 24.

The Madden 24 release date is fast approaching. And one of the latest milestones on EA’s reveal agenda, was that of the Madden 24 ratings, which went live in July. But which QBs made the Top 20?

Quarterbacks are in charge of managing the offense and executing most plays for the unit. Whether it’s passing the ball to the wide receivers, handing it off to the running backs, or running with it themselves, it is their responsibility for the team to score points and win. In this day and age in the NFL, and for years before that, having a strong, talented quarterback has become simply essential for any team aspiring to win a Super Bowl Title.

In Madden 23, Tom Brady was the best quarterback at launch with a 97 overall rating. The legendary, seven-time Super Bowl Champion is now retired however, leaving that number one spot for none other than Patrick Mahomes, who was the final member selected for the Madden 24 99 Club. Furthermore, five quarterbacks from Madden 23 had 90+ overall ratings. But in Madden 24, that number dropped to four.

Patrick Mahomes – 99 overall

Mahomes is the latest and final member of the 99 Club in Madden 24. Following his spectacular MVP Season and Super Bowl Title, it only makes sense for him to be not only the best quarterback in the game, but also come baring a 99 overall rating.

Joe Burrow – 95 overall

Burrow over Allen? Yes, Burrow has been flat-out special over the last two seasons, leading the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1988 in 2021 before following that up a year later with yet another AFC Championship game appearance, falling to the Chiefs 23-20. After being a 90 overall at launch in Madden 23, Burrow’s new 95 overall is a fitting choice for the star talent.

Josh Allen – 94 overall

The Madden 24 cover athlete, Bills QB Josh Allen had every chance of a massive rating this year. However, Allen also had a bit of down season over 2022 in comparison to his 2020 breakout campaign, so it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that he has a 94 overall rating this year. Allen did have a 92 overall rating at launch in Madden 23 so it’s still a step up for the young star and cover athlete.

Jalen Hurts – 88 overall

Eagles’ 2020 Round 2 draft pick Jalen Hurts has risen to the top in the best NFL quarterback conversation. Hurts led the Eagles to Super Bowl LVII and broke several QB rushing records despite his team falling narrowly short of victory. Though it’s surprising he didn’t crack the 90+ Club, an 88 overall rating is still a fitting one for the young Hurts.

Aaron Rodgers – 86 overall

Some of you might be surprised with Aaron Rodgers being so low. However, not only is he also coming off a disappointing season with the Packers, he’s also on a brand new team and is only getting older. Rodgers came in at a 96 overall last year in Madden 23, so seeing him back there was unlikely. But an 86 overall? The man was the MVP Winner in 2020 and in 2021, two fairly recent seasons. It’s understandable to factor in the new team, but Rodgers should have been at least in the 90+ club.
