With the release of version 4.0, here are the currently active Genshin Impact redemption codes. With the launch of 4.0, one new code has been released. At the moment, the three codes in the table below are all confirmed to be working with the release of Genshin Impact update 4.0. Use the table below to try the codes.

Genshin Impact live stream redemption codes
Each month HoYoverse puts on a special live stream to showcase upcoming updates and new additions with each patch. As of August 2023, we’ve seen the live stream for 4.0, which is set to be released on August 16. During this live stream, three codes were released. These codes expire after 24 hours, but we will list them regardless. When the 4.1 live stream is announced, we will update this table as necessary.

Bear in mind that you should act fast with the live stream redemption codes as they are limited and don’t last long. There are typically three per live stream and each one gives you 100 Primogems.
How to redeem codes in Genshin Impact
Redeeming codes in Genshin Impact couldn’t be easier. You have two options in how you do it which are:
- Through the in-game menu
- Using the official HoYoverse website
If you want to redeem the codes in-game, first you need to launch into Genshin Impact. Once loaded, go into the settings menu and scroll down until you find the Account tab. Click on this and then click on redeem code. Copy and paste the codes from the tables above and hit enter. You will get a notification if it worked or not.
Alternatively, head to the redemption page on the official Hoyoverse website. Log in by clicking on the option in the top-right of the window. Once logged in, select your server and your name will automatically fill in. With that, enter the codes and press redeem. Successfully redeeming a code will send your rewards in-game using the Mail system. Make sure you grab everything.
How do I get more Genshin Impact codes?
Promo codes for Genshin Impact are released throughout each patch. Generally speaking, there will be about two new codes every update, and then when there is a special live stream about the next patch, there will be three new codes released during the stream.

How do I get more Genshin Impact primogems?
The best thing about redemption codes in Genshin Impact is that they give you Primogems. This currency is what you use to make wishes on event Banners and get new characters. As you might expect, this means Primogems are extremely valuable.
If you’re looking to get Primogems and there are no new codes to claim, you can do the following activities in-game:
- Complete all Hangout and Story quests with your allies.
- Clear every world quest and Archon quest you come across.
- Complete your Daily Commissions and talk to Katheryne afterwards in any major city.
- Completing achievements in Genshin Impact is a good way to get more Primogems.
- Sometimes Hoyoverse sends out Primogems through the in-game mail, so make sure you claim any you have.
- Exploring each area thoroughly and opening chests will net you plenty of Primogems.
- Unlock Shrines.
