Wonderkids will be the lifeblood of any successful FC 24 Career Mode save, training up promising players into world beaters. Some of these stars could fit into your first team straight away, while others may need a bit of time before getting some minutes on the pitch, before challenging at the top of the FC 24 ratings.
To be counted as a wonderkid, a player will need to be a teenager at the start of your FC 24 Career Mode save. This means the likes of Jude Bellingham and Pedri are no longer counted in this category, however, you can find them in the best young players list!Â
Gavi – 90 potential
Barcelona and Spain’s midfield looks to be sorted for the next decade, with Gavi and Pedri two of the best young CMs around. Pedri acts as the link between defence and midfield, with Gavi operating a bit further forward, focusing more on moving the ball to the dangermen in and around the box.
Youssoufa Moukoko – 90 potential
There was much excitement when Youssoufa Moukoko was introduced to the game in FIFA 22, and it’s easy to see why. The young German is pacey and excels in dribbling and finishing, giving him all the qualities needed for a top striker. Recruit him early before his price skyrockets!
Alejandro Balde – 89 potential
Like Gavi, Alejandro Balde is a Spanish youngster who came through the Barcelona youth academy. He had a breakthrough campaign last season, taking over from stalwart Jordi Alba at left-back and playing most of the season. Expect his rating and potential to get boosted ahead of FC 24.
Rico Lewis – 88 potential
England is going through a purple patch of producing right-backs at the moment, with Rico Lewis being the latest edition to the list. Pep Guardiola has a lot of confidence in Lewis, trusting him to play the inverted full-back role we became accustomed to seeing Joao Cancelo take on. The 2023/24 season could be a huge one for Lewis!
Warren Zaire-Emery – 88 potential
Warren Zaire-Emery could be the new go-to signing for Career Mode players in FC 24. The Frenchman will be 17 years old at the start of the game and has great potential. He has decent physicality and is good at winning the ball back and starting attacks. With Marco Verratti looking to move to the Saudi league, Zaire-Emery could find himself starting more regularly for PSG this season.
