Cristiano Ronaldo’s slide towards retirement is set to continue in FC 24. Having been downgraded several times throughout the course of FIFA 23, Ronaldo finished the season with an 87 overall.

Karim Benzema looks set to rule the roost in Saudi Arabia. Last year’s joint-best player, according to the ratings, is unlikely to see a downgrade that would take him beyond Ronaldo’s 87 rating. Benzema himself may be beaten to top spot if Kylian Mbappe’s proposed record-breaking move comes to fruition.

Elsewhere in the Saudi Pro League, midfielders Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, N’Golo Kante, Marceloa Brozovic, and Seko Fofana have all arrived. Each player will be among the best in the league, making the Saudi Pro League a viable option in FC 24 Ultimate Team.

Karim Benzema – 89 overall

Karim Benzema’s stay at the top of the ratings looks set to be short-lived. A 91 rating in FIFA 23 is set for a downgrade following the Frenchman’s move to Al-Ittihad. Despite the downgrade, we still expect to see Benzema pip his former Real Madrid teammate Ronaldo to the top spot in the Saudi Pro League ratings.

Cristiano Ronaldo – 87 overall

Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo will go down as one of the greatest players in history. CR7 has established his goal scoring credentials in Saudi Arabia already, notching 14 goals in 16 appearances. Ronaldo will be hoping his new teammates can assist him in firing Al Nassr to the league title this season.

N’Golo Kante – 86 overall

Injuries limited N’Golo Kante to just seven league appearances for Chelsea last season. As a result, we expect Kante’s rating to drop to 86 overall in FC 24. The lack of game time and switch to the Saudi league is enough to justify such a steep decline.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic – 86 overall

Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is one of the new arrivals that isnt coming to the end of his career. The 28-year-old registered 17 goal involvements for Lazio in Serie A last season and should see his 86 overall remain the same in FC 24.

Marcelo Brozovic – 84 overall

Croatian CDM Marcelo Brozovic saw his rating decrease by 2 in FIFA 23. Having begun with an 86 rating, the former Inter midfielder now sits with an 84 overall. Brozovic and Seko Fofana in midfield for Al Nassr could be very useful indeed!

Players like Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly just missed out on our top five, but keep an eye out for them when the FC 24 ratings reveal arrives. Koulibaly could also feature among the FC 24 strongest players next season, while former Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino should rank among the best five-star skillers.
