What is Season Journey in Diablo 4 Season 1?
The Season Journey lets Diablo 4 Season 1 players complete objectives that count toward the battle pass and offer additional rewards. They are broken up into seven chapters, with increasingly difficult challenges. Luckily, players don’t have to complete all objectives in a chapter to receive its rewards. Each chapter only needs a certain number of completed objectives. Chapters can only be completed once per Season per account.
Season Journey objectives list in Diablo 4 Season 1
Season Journey objectives can only be finished in the Seasonal Realm. Characters created in the Eternal Season before Season 1 will not be able to complete these objectives. You’ll need to create a new seasonal character to begin your Diablo 4 Season Journey. Remember that only Altars of Lilith and discovered areas will carry on to the new character. If you’re looking for more renown, you’ll have to clear Strongholds, finish Dungeons, and side quests again. This is necessary to increase Diablo 4 healing potion charges, paragon points, and skill points.
Progressing in the Season Journey nets you Favor and Chapter Rewards. The former helps you progress through the Diablo 4 battle pass. And the latter can be anything from more Favor to Caches of loot and Legendary Aspects.
Here’s a list of all Diablo 4 Season Journey objectives in Season 1:
Chapter 1
Complete 7 of the following 9 objectives to obtain the Chapter Rewards. Each Objective grants Smaller Favor towards the Diablo 4 battle pass. Here are the Chapter 1 objectives:
- The Hangsman’s Garden – Collect 15 Gallowvine
- Heart of Corruption – Find 1 Malignant Heart
- Den of Evil – Complete any Dungeon
- Trouble in the Wilds – Complete a World Event
- Into the Frozen Dark – Complete 3 Dungeons in Fractured Peaks
- What Lurks Below – Complete a Cellar
- Kind Stranger – Complete 5 Priority or Side Quests
- Keeper of the Keys – Buy a Whispering Key from the Purveyor of Curiosities
- Waste Not – Salvage 10 items at the Blacksmith

- First Journey Cache (herbs and jewellery)

Chapter 2
Complete 9 of the following 11 objectives to obtain the Chapter Rewards. Each Objective grants Smaller Favor towards the Diablo 4 battle pass. Here are the Chapter 2 objectives:
- Undertaker – Complete 10 Cellars
- Stopping the Spread – Find 3 Malignant Hearts
- Ruins Reclaimed – Conquer a Stronghold
- Gemcutter – Craft a Chipped Gem at the Jeweler
- A Torch in the Depths – Complete 5 Malignant Tunnels
- Baptized in Blood – Reach level 25
- Vivisector – Collect 15 Demon Hearts (Kill Demons or do Cellars)
- A Warrior of Taste – Change your gear’s appearance at the Wardrobe
- Lightning the Way – Interact with 10 Waypoints
- Spit and Polish – Upgrade 2 items to 1 star at the Blacksmith or Jeweler
- Finer Clarity – Upgrade your potion to Minor at the Alchemist

- Risk and Reward – Buy 5 items from the Purveyor of Curiosities
- Champion of the Lost – Conquer 5 Strongholds
- Touching the Eternal – Unlock 4 Codex of Power Aspects
- A Master at Work – Complete 5 World Events with Mastery
- Hunter’s Whisper – Complete 10 Whispers
- Wonders Distilled – Craft 5 Elixirs at the Alchemist
- Transfer of Power – Imprint an Aspect at the Occultist
- Grim Reward Obtain -10 Caches from the Tree of Whispers
- Corruption Cleansed – Complete 5 Malignant Tunnels
- Exceptional Potency – Upgrade your Potion to Moderate at the Alchemist

- A World Apart – Change the World Tier
- Quelled Hatred – Purify 1,000 Seeds of Hatred in Hostile Areas
- The Stuff of Legends – Collect 5 Coiling Ward by salvaging Legendary Armor
- Gifts of the Ancient – Unlock 15 Codex of Power Aspects
- The Father’s Gate – Complete the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon
- Miracles of Alchemy – Craft 10 Elixirs at the Alchemist
- Legacy of Sanctuary – Equip a Legendary Item in every slot
- A Legend at the Forge – Upgrade 1 item to 3 stars at the Blacksmith or Jeweler

- The Depths of Fear – Complete 5 Nightmare Dungeons
- A Boon in the Tide – Open 1 Tortured Gift of any type during Helltide
- Keymaster – Craft 2 Nightmare Sigils at the Occultist
- Cut the First Ear – Kill another player in PVP
- Prophecy Manifest – Open 1 Tortured Gift of Mysteries during Helltide
- Scourge of the Malignant – Complete 15 Malignant Tunnels
- Lingering Wrath – Defeat the Echo of Varshan after completing seasonal storyline
- The Pargon’s Path – Unlock 15 Paragon Nodes
- Restored Glory – Upgrade 2 items to 4 stars at the Blacksmith or Jeweler

Chapter 6

- Threshold of Damnation – Complete the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon
- Wrath’s Vengeance – Defeat the Echo of Varshan on World Tier 3 Difficulty
- Ancestral Artisan – Upgrade 3 items to 5 stars at the Blacksmith or Jeweler
- Reaching for Greatness – Upgrade a Paragon Glyph to Rank20
- The Gathering Fires – Acquire 1,000 Cinders in Helltide
- Crown to Foot – Imprint 15 Aspects at the Occultist
- No Mere Mortal – Unlock a Legendary Paragon nodes
- Tempered by Hellfire – Reach level 75
- Pilgrimage of Nightmares – Complete a Tier 15 Nightmare Dungeon

Chapter 7
Complete 6 of the following 8 Objectives to obtain the Chapter Rewards. Each Objective grants Favor towards the Diablo 4 battle pass. Here are the Chapter 7 objectives:
- Mephisto’s Bane – Purify 10,000 Seeds of Hatred in Hostile Areas
- Heads of the Snake – Kill 5 Helltide Commanders during Helltide
- The Spoils of Hell – Open 3 Tortured Gift of Mysteries during Helltide
- Shattered Fiends – Kill 15 World Bosses
- Blessed Mother Departed – Kill Echo of Lilith on World Tier 4 Torment Difficulty
- Wrath’s Dying Breath – Kill Echo of Varshan on World Tier 4 Difficulty
- Anointed Immortal – Reach level 100
- Lord of Nightmares – Complete a Tier 43 Nightmare Dungeon

- Player Titles: Wrathful (Prefix) & Heart (Suffix)
- Seventh Journey Cache (resources, jewellery, and a Scroll of Amnesia that refunds skill points and paragon points)
