Catalyst kill farming is a tedious, but necessary part of the Destiny 2 grind. Acquiring these enhancement can often make the Exotic weapon you’re wielding even more powerful, which is why players often accomplish it when it’s available.

Unfortunately, finding the right place to consistently get heaps of kills can often be difficult due to the game’s large player base. Luckily, we’ve found a few that you can go to so you won’t have to keep searching for one constantly. You’ll be able to find out what these locations are by simply reading on.

Best Place to Farm Kills in Destiny 2

• Shuro Chi Encounter (Last Wish Raid)
  • The notoriously difficult Last Wish Raid contains an encounter that generates a consistent stream of enemies that you can keep killing. The best part is once you’ve eliminated all of the weaker waves, you can simply get yourself killed to start it all over again. Before you begin the battle, however, remember to plant a rally banner so you won’t have to start from the beginning.
  • If you want to make quick work of the enemies in the Shuro Chi encounter, we recommend using the Hunter Nightstalker subclass with the Shadowshot: Deadfall Super. Tethering the enemies together will quickly kill them all at once. You’ll be able to repeat this process all throughout the fight and once again when you re-run it.
• Sorrow’s Harbor (Moon)
  • Sorrow’s Harbor is a much more accessible location since it doesn’t require the purchase of an expansion to get to. This area can be found on the moon and the Altar of Sorrows that can be found here spawns a constant wave of enemies that is easy enough to kill. By running it a few times, you should be able to collect the kills that you need from this location alone.
  • Keep in mind, though, that since this is a freely accessible area, other players will similarly be able to join you. This means that kills may often get stolen from you as other users will more than likely start spamming their grenades and abilities. However, the trade-off is still completely worth it since you won’t need to spend any money here.
• Dares of Eternity Playlist
  • This is another great free-for-all option for those that aren’t willing to buy any of the expansions. The Dares of Eternity playlist contains three encounters, all of which are filled with large groups of enemies. With this in mind, you will surely be able to rack up a ton of kills by simply running it repeatedly.
  • Similar to Sorrow’s Harbor, there will be plenty of other Guardians here since this is a free, team-based activity. Luckily, there should be plenty of kills to go around so you won’t have to worry about the large number of players present too much.

The best place to farm kills fast is still the Shuro Chi encounter since you can hop into it by yourself. Unfortunately, you will need to purchase the Forsaken expansion in order to access it, which may slightly put off some players. However, there are still a few good choices for those that prefer playing for free, like the Dares of Eternity playlist and the Sorrow’s Harbor area on the moon.
