Looking for the best Nahida team compositions in Genshin Impact? Nahida is one of the most recent playable 5-star character to be added to the growing list of Genshin Impact characters. Serving as the vessel of the Lesser Lord Kusanali, she is a strong Catalyst wielding Dendro Archon. Due to her Dendro unit capabilities, Nahida can be utilized in a variety of team compositions.

If you were lucky enough to pull Nahida during your 50/50 character wish, you should build your Dendro team around her. Here we take you through some of the best team compositions to supplement Nahida. Nahida is part of the banner for the Genshin Impact 3.6, so if you’ve been lucky enough to grab the character, this guide has everything you need to hit the ground running.

Being a Dendro Archon and the best Dendro Support in the game, Nahida will fit any Dendro Reaction team as either an on-field Enabler or an off-field Support. Because of that and based on her Dendro Reactions, she has a wide choice of team composition.

Let’s take a look at the best team compositions for Nahida.

1. Hyperbloom team

In a Hyperbloom team, your goal is to use Hydro and Dendro to create Dendro Particles and then use Electro to activate them for high-damage output. Due to Nahida’s Dendro abilities, you could run this team in multiple ways.

CharacterMain role
NahidaDendro Enabler
RaidenElectro Enabler
XingqiuHydro Enabler
ZhongliSupport, Shielder

Raiden has an insane Electro uptime, so he can constantly keep activating Nahida’s Dendro abilities. Doing so will output a ton of Hyperbloom damage on enemy teams. Xingqiu also enables you to deal significant single-target damage, where as having Zhongli ticks off the dedicated healer role for your team.

Ensure that you build Nahida for Elemental Mastery, Dendro Damage, and CRIT Rate. You’ll spend a lot of time on the field with Nahida to help with the Bloom generation. You want to avoid using Raiden’s Elemental Burst so that Nahida can get more time on the field. More on-field time for Nahida means more Dendro build-up for your team.

Since Raiden’s Elemental Skill lasts a while, you can keep Nahida on the field to apply Dendro while Xingqiu applies Hydro, and then Raiden can easily activate Hyperbloom for excessive damage.

Rotations

You want to start off with Zhongli’s Elemental Skill to give your team a shield. Then change to Nahida to cast her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. Then follow that up with Xingqiu’s Elemental Skill, Burst, and finally another skill. Doing so creates a bunch of Blooms for you to activate. Finally, use Raiden’s Elemental Skill to trigger those Blooms and proc Hyberbloom.

Once the Hyperbloom is on, it will deal a massive amount of damage. Then you can switch to Nahida and keep applying Dendro with her attacks until Xingqiu’s Skill is ready to be used again. From there, you simply repeat the process.

Substitute composition

You can replace Raiden in your team with Kuki as an Electro Enabler. Similarly, Zhongli as a Support can be replaced by Yelan, Kokomi, Fischl, or Lisa. Both Kuki and Raiden Hyperbloom builds are extraordinarily viable and fun with Nahida.

2. Bloom team

Next up, let’s talk about building a Bloom team with Nahida. Our focus in this build is on Hydro and Dendro Reactions to be able to proc Bloom.

CharacterMain role
NahidaDendro Enabler
NilouBountiful Cores Enabler
KokomiHealer, Hydro Enabler
XingqiuSupport, Hydro Enabler

Aside from Nahida, Nilou is the main focus of this build due to her buff, which lets her spam Dendro core damage. Nilou didn’t seem as useful of a character when she first came out, but her and Nahida’s abilities perfectly synchronize with each other.

Nilou has excellent Dendro uptime, Bloom buffs, and a lot more to offer a party. With the Dendro uptime she provides, you can run 3 Hydro characters in your Bloom-based team. Even if Nahida isn’t the Bloom trigger in your team, you’ll have some underlying Hydro aura in your team, giving greater Bloom damage.

For this team specifically, you want to run a complete Elemental Mastery build on Nahida. The only major disadvantage of this team is you’ll take a ton of Bloom damage in the process, and healing through that will be a hassle. That’s where Kokomi’s healing and Xingqiu’s damage reduction will help your team survive.

Rotations

As far as rotations go, the perfect way to start is by using Nilou’s Elemental Skill, followed by 2 normal or charged attacks and another skill after that. Next, switch over to Nahida and cast her Elemental skill and Burst one after the other. Follow that up with Kokomi Skill, and then Xinqiu’s Skill, Burst, and another skill if you’re using the Sacrificial Sword.

You want to continue spamming Nahida’s Normal attacks to proc a lot of Bloom. Using Nahida on-field at the end of your rotation helps you continuously apply Dendro to keep up with the triple Hydro. Doing so helps Nahida trigger a lot of Bloom. Then you can rinse and repeat this whole rotation.

Substitute composition

You can replace Barbara with Kokomi in your team as a Healer and Hydro Enabler. It isn’t quite as effective but is still a viable option. Similarly, Barbara can replace Xingqiu in your team. They provide extra healing for your team, albeit at the cost of reduced single-target damage.

3. Aggravate team

Now let’s talk about building an Aggravate team with Nahida. Aggravate reaction is triggered upon applying Electro to an enemy who has been Quickened already. Quicken itself is triggered by combining Dendro with Electro.

CharacterMain role
NahidaAggravate Enabler
CynoOn-Field Electro Enabler
FischlOff-Filed Electro Enabler
JeanSupport, Shielder

This team mainly relies on Cyno being able to deal a lot of Electro Reaction on-field to trigger Aggravate. Cyno needs a long buff uptime to deal consistent damage due to his high on-field time requirement. Luckily, that makes him a perfect candidate for an Electro Enabler in an Aggravate-based Nahida team.

The roles in this team are pretty divided. Cyno is the main source of on-field Electro damage, while Nahida deals spread damage and also enables Aggravate. Fischl will be dealing tons of Electro damage off-field due to her passive ability. Jean will use Electro Elemental Mastery to debuff the enemies while healing the team.

Nahida’s abilities will also deal a solid chunk of damage to the enemies, and she can easily be used as an on-field DPS character when Cyno’s skills are on a cooldown.

Rotations

For this team, start off by casting Cyno Elemental Skill, followed by Nahida’s Elemental skill and Burst. Next, switch over to Fischl for her Elemental Skill, and then Jean’s Elemental skill and Burst.

Then finally switch back to Cyno for his Elemental skill, Burst, and then normal or charged attack, whichever suit you better for stamina management and dodging. You can keep repeating this rotation to trigger Aggravate continuously. If your Fischl Elemental Skill is not on cooldown, you can use it to refresh Oz.

Substitute composition

The best replacement for Cyno in this team as an on-field Electro damage source is Keqing. Beidou and Kazuha work well as replacements for Fischl and Jean, respectively. Sayu is also a good substitute for Fischl. The idea is to have a Shielder like Beidou or Healers like Sayu and Jean for increased survivability.

4. Burgeon team

In Genshin Impact, if you apply Pyro to Dendro Cores, it triggers explosions which are known as Burgeon Reactions. These a ton of damage inside the explosion radius to both enemies and your party members.

CharacterMain role
NahidaDendro Enabler
KokomiHealer, Hydro Enabler
XingqiuDPS, Hydro Enabler
ThomaBurgeon Enabler, Shielder

Burgeons team don’t have to actively keep thinking about rotations, because all you’re doing is applying Pyro to your Dendro Cores. Thoma is one of the core characters of this composition due to his ability to generate Shields with every Elemental Burst hit. You’ll be using Thoma to trigger Burgeons while also shielding your team from the damage.

You’ll also be relying on Kokomi to provide heals to your team and Xingqiu for single-target damage to enemies. That said, Nahida will stay on-field to generate the Blooms continuously. Burning won’t be an issue simply due to the high Hydro output of your team.

Rotations

For rotations, we recommend using Kokomi’s Elemental skill, followed by Nahida’s Elemental skill and Burst. Then Switch over to Xingqiu and use her Elemental skill, Burst, and then another skill if you’re using a Sacrificial Sword. Then you want Thoma’s Elemental skill and Burst in the mix.

Next, proc Blooms and Burgeons, then switch over to Nahida to spam her normal attacks. In between Nahida’s normal attacks, switch over to Kokomi and use her Elemental Burst to refresh the Jellyfish before the time is up. Rinse and repeat, and hopefully, you’ll have the full uptime on Kokomi’s Jellyfish for the next rotation.

Substitute composition

You can substitute Thoma for Yoimiya, who can also reliably trigger Burgeon with her Elemental Burst. Yoimiya in a Dendro team works well because of her passive attack buffs while her Burst is active.

If you choose to run Thoma for Shield, you can replace Kokomi with some other Hydro, like Yelan or Barbara. Although we definitely recommend Kokomi over Barbara.

5. Reverse Melt team

If an enemy is infused with the Cryo element, and you hit it with Pyro damage, you proc Melt Reaction. The reverse is also possible where you hit a Pyro-infused enemy with Cryo element to proc a Reaction named aptly Reverse Melt.

CharacterMain Role
NahidaDendro Enabler
ZhongliSupport, Shielder
BennettPyro Enabler
GanyuCryo Enabler

Before Nahida, using Burning to Reverse Melt wasn’t possible because the Dendro wouldn’t be strong enough, and the Pyro effect would just go out without being refreshed. However, as Nahida applies 1.5 units of Dendro, you can keep refreshing Pyro.

Shooting a fully charged arrow with Ganyu, you proc a double Melt on enemy units with the Melt depleting the Burning aura, but not a Pyro underneath it. When you activate the Melt Reaction, Nahida’s Skill re-activates, essentially restarting the Burning process. It means you can play Melt Ganyu without Energy issues.

If you want the burning aura to be everlasting, you wanna trigger it with Nahida’s Elemental Skill. Doing so may not provide a complete uptime on Burning, but it will still be super consistent for the most part.

Rotations

We recommend starting your rotation with Zhongli’s Elemental skill. Bennett’s ElementalsSkill and Burst follow it. Then Nahida’s Elemental skill and Burst. Finally, end with several of Ganyu’s charged attacks.

With this rotation, you end up losing some uptime for Bennett’s Elemental Burst, and might not have it ready for the next round. If that happens, you can simply skip Bennett’s Burst and use it after exhausting Nahida’s Burst.

Substitute Composition

For this team, you can swap Zhongli out for an Ameno Healer like Jean for heals and extra damage. Besides that, this build is too niche to work with other characters. You have to use the characters we have recommended for this build to actually work, and that’s a downside to this team.
