If you’re new to the in-game competitive scene, you may be wondering what you can expect and what kind of ranks it has. Luckily, that’s exactly what we’ll be going into so you know what tiers you’ll be aiming for as you get into the world of Destiny 2 PvP.
Full List of Competitive Ranks in Destiny 2 Crucible
Here are all of the competitive ranks you can progress through in Destiny 2 PvP:
- Untested
- Copper III to I
- Bronze III to I
- Silver III to I
- Gold III to I
- Platinum III to I
- Adept III to I
- Ascendant
If you haven’t played in PvP before, you will initially be placed in the Untested tier. Once you’ve completed a few games, you will then be ranked based on how you performed in these matches. Most new players are often placed into the lower ranks like Copper III and II. However, those who were able to do well will be able to enter some of the higher ranks such as Silver and Gold.
After you’ve earned your specific ranking, you’ll need to win a certain amount of matches to progress to the next one. Reaching the highest rank in a particular tier will allow you to play through a Promotional Series. Keep in mind, though, that if you lose enough matches within a tier’s lowest rank, you’ll have to survive a Relegation Series instead. You will then need to win two out of three matches to progress to a higher rank or to avoid being kicked down to a lower one.
